I don't think I've been myself for a single second...
This is not me. This girl I’ve made myself out to be is actually a false pretense, a fake, a creation if you will. But it’s not me.
In high school, it was so easy to be myself. I never once covered up who I was or pretended to be somebody I wasn’t. But now, it’s not so easy. I’m confused, torn, and lost.

You can’t just decide when you feel like treating somebody with respect and expect them to go along with it. You can’t just go back and forth between treating them well and treating them like shit, especially when the majority of the time you treat them like shit, and expect them to be okay with it.
